On October 29, JD Logistics (also known as JINGDONG Logistics) officially launched its Shenzhen-Kuala Lumpur international all-cargo route, further enhancing cross-border trade between China and Southeast Asia. The inaugural flight departed from Shenzhen, China, at 10:00 A.M. and arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at 2:00 P.M., carrying a full load of cross-border e-commerce goods.
The new route will operate two to five flights per week, improving the efficiency of the transportation of goods between China to Southeast Asia. The launch of the route represents a key milestone in JD Logistics’ efforts to establish a fully integrated supply chain in the region, offering seamless international logistics services to merchants and customers.
Since the start of JD Airlines’ international operations in 2023, its network has grown to include destinations such as South Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, Bangladesh, and Thailand, strengthening JD’s footprint across Southeast Asia. JD Logistics has also established multiple self-operated warehouses throughout the region, enabling local and international brands and merchants to leverage JD Logistics’ industry-leading supply chain and logistics solutions, which provide delivery times as fast as one day in certain areas. Additionally, JD Express has expanded its services to cover seven Southeast Asian countries, ensuring local consumers can receive parcels from China with greater speed and reliability.
As part of its global expansion strategy, JD Logistics plans to double the total area of its self-operated overseas warehouses by the end of 2025 and increase the frequency of its international flights. Future plans also include continue leveraging JD Airlines’ capabilities to open long-haul routes to Europe and North America.
